What is Yakou

名字是源于古时候开关门总发出声音，后来把用不到门的口改装为哑口。取其无声之意。又叫垭口。

The name originates from the ancient times when doors and windows always make a sound, and later the mouth that cannot be used for the door was converted into a mute. Take its silent meaning. Also known as Yakou.

包垭口，一般安装在过道的门洞周围的墙体上，主要目的是美观，能够实现与门、装修风格的统一，其次还能起到保护墙角的作用，防止磕碰。不过并非所有的垭口都需要处理。

垭口两种包法

一般分为单面哑口(主要为入户或窗口)和双面哑口，分为二个立边哑口和一个横边哑口，单面哑口包括三根口线，双面哑口包括六根口线。

垭口是否需要处理还看其处于什么空间。
